I did not care for the public beach near Lucaya, I just sent an email to the Wesin/Sheraton and they called me back this is what they offer.  They sell a day use package that includes a room for $65.00 or you can rent a towle and chair for $10-$30  If you go to www.flickr.com and search Westin Freeport Bahamas you will see many pictures and they beach looks really nice.  I have read many blogs on keeping safe in Freeport it appears the economy is bringing out the worst in some people.  I hope you have a great trip we are cruising....... 08/19 and I am counting down the days already!
