The drink tickets are on the Carnival Gifts and Services page under "Most Popular Items" and under "Specialty Items."  It is called a "Bar Credit," where you get four drink tickets for $21.25.  I heard that if you want a premium liquor (like Grey Goose) or a stronger drink like Long Island Iced Tea (four liquors), you have to pay extra on top of the drink ticket. 

We took that picture at Sandals Whitehouse, Jamaica about three years ago.  The sunset there is beautiful.  Thanks!  We got married in Jamaica (Dunn's River Villaggio in Ocho Rios) and we've been to Sandals around six times total.  We love it, but it's really expensive (so we decided to do a cruise this year)!

You are going to be in Orlando soon, so what color did you want to wear so we can find each other at the sports bar Sunday?  Pick a color, any color.  I don't have a colorful wardrobe (I wear a lot of black), but I will see what I can do.

Hey theloglady  I thought Phil and I were the only ones that loved Jamaica. we don't have all the problems everyone else seems to have.  It is the only port where I am really sad to leave.

Ladzen, I am not a space shuttle expert, but I do know that Space Shuttle Endeavour is supposed to launch at 7:39 on July 11, 2009 and we leave port at 4.  I'm guessing that we are going to be pretty far away and we probably won't get to see it launch.  I wish the launch would have occured closer to our embarkation.   

I would (as you suggested) email them to see if they are doing tours and regular daily events.  Let me know what you find out.

They close the tours and the National Seashore on launch days but the Visitors' Center is open and it's really wonderful, great exhibits and the Astronaut Memorial is beautiful. The Rocket Garden is awesome.

As to whether you'll see the launch, depends on the trajectory of the shuttle and the speed and direction of the ship. I would guess not since all air and sea traffic must keep a minimum distance on the day of launch.

Twilight launches are beautiful, though, and I wish you the best.

Okay, Luv2vacay and Loglady (and all other sailors), 7 more days.  I cannot believe it!  Now I am getting nervous.  It is time to do some serious packing.  Looking forward to our cruise and meeting all of you.  Thanks ladies for some neat excursion and gift ideas.  Let the countdown begin.

I am going on with you all!  My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and we are renewing our vows on board.  My brother in law and sister in law are joining us too!  We sailed on Imagination 10 years ago for our honeymoon and had a blast.  We are excited to have a balcony room this time.  Only a week away!  I can't wait!!
