You can rent a clamshell which can enclose 2 long beach chairs.  Don't hold me to it but I think it might be 10 bucks for the day.  Maybe a little more.

Hi brc23 I called carnival to inquire about the price of the cabana of course i received 3 different prices but $250.00 was the highest quote.  I was told it was for 5 hrs, $250.00 for 4 and $45.00 each additional guest max 10.  They are eqipped with a ceiling fan, air conditioner, table & chairs inside as well as deck chairs and misting shower on the private terrace.  Refrigerator will have assorted soft drinks, bottled water and snacks.  I have a group of 35 people we are going to try to get atleast three cabanas.  We'll be going straight to the purser desk.

Is it worth it to rent a cabana if you younger kids? What I mean by this is that if you have to sort of be chasing after them the whole time or go where they go, will you still be able to use the cabana much?

Cabanas are awesome for young children. They can get in out of the sun and/or take a nap in the shade. It gave us a nice private spot for lunch. The fruit tray was nice, and the drinks came in handy. Folks would snorkel for an hour or so, then come back to the cabana for a half hour or so. My family all loved our cabana last month. Clamshells are another option, but they are not as great as cabanas. They do afford a little protection from the sun and/or rain. Be aware, cabanas go quickly, so you need to go directly to the Shore Excursion Desk on the day you board your Fun Ship to get one.

We love you Kalyn Padget and Rosie Unsworth (our lovely adopted daughters), Amy Barton, Melanie Therrien, TJ, and Rick! The Fun Crew puts the fun in Carnival Cruising! Thank you Butch for being a fantastic CD!

I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.

Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!

Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.
