5 days left.... i am so excited.... this is our first Cruise..... with 7 in our group.

I am so ready to experience this.... i hope ya all have a great Cruise

I graduated from Wingfield - 1978 - might know some of you folks!  Sounds like ya'll are going to have a great reunion!

Rusty:

My wife rides in a Mardi Gras parade and all the Krewes have a big ball before the parade.  Kind of like a Prom, just on a large scale.  Gotta do the tux and everything..(please don't say it's so).

We will be a group of 8 women cruising (high school friends from class of 73 & 72 from South Louisiana).  We are bringing Mardi Gras beads & music & wearing Mardi Gras shirts - we will want to do a little mardi gras mambo - any ideas?  want to join us?

I was born in 1972...does that count?

Sure it counts!  That was a great year to be born!  I had 1 year left of high school back then!!  Does not seem that long ago!  Look for our group - 6 of us have white airbrushed shirts with palm trees and the "Triumph" sailing in the sunset!  You can help us with our Mardi Gras celebration!

Mardi Gras Mambo with a Carribean flair....can't think of a better way to spend the week.  My wife and I would love to join you in the festivities.  I will tell her we need to wear beads and MG colors and be  prepared to PARTY!!! (She's always ready to party.)

We'll be at the bar by the Casino as soon as that particular bar opens.  Just walk up and yell out "who's Rusty" and I'll answer.  If that doesn't work, we're in cabin 7288.  Give us a call or come by and we'll get this deal on the road (or sea, whichever you prefer).

My (then) 13 y/o daughter and I went on a Royal Car. cruise June, 08.  It was nice, but we went with another family who had to have everything their way.  I took her again on the Exticy this past June; just her and dad.  I loved it, but she does not handle large numbers of people very well.  We met a very nice couple from Dallas, and have stayed in contact.  I am going with a friend on Nov. 10 out of NO as well.  She has never cruised before.  Looking forward to doing about as much as nothing as we can.  Are there many singles on this trip thay you know of?  We are planning on attending a few of the singles' events, if they exist.  Looking forward to meeting new friends, we're from Alexandria, LA.

As long as I can't see land and have NO cell phone service, and there are drinks available, all is well !!!   All I know is that it's away from work and home!  How soon befire I can have a huricane (the fun kind)?  I suggest that anyone subjuct to motion sickness, particularly this time of year, call your Dr. for those patches.  They look silly, but it's a lot better than spending your hard earned money blowing cookies.  Three days, fourteen hours, thirty-nine minutes and twenty-seven seconds - but, who's counting?  John and Tara.

tr126...I have to warn you, my wife and I have one goal on the ship and one goal only.  We must be resonably intoxicated by the time the muster drill occurs.  So, we will already be in a party mood by the time you arrive to start the MG festivities.

 Born in 1972 definitely counts...best year to be born!  Guess what year I was born in?  This will be my wife and my second cruise, for our 4th anniversary...we're very excited.  We're from Dallas.

 Looks like we'll all be looking for Rusty...then we can drink a toast to Ida.

Works for me.  (Born in '72.  Hurumph....just a child.)  We can drink a toast to Ida.  Then we have to drink one to my wife for putting up with me for 25 years.  Believe me, she deserves a medal or something. Nov. 10 is our 25th anniversary.
