So have you decided to go do the rays? Remember if you go out on one the private tours ask to sit up on the front of the boat. Both time we sat up front ,you may get a little wet but it's cool to be able to look out over the front of the boat and your stuff won't get wet when everyone else gets back into the boat.In the back of the boat they tell you to put your stuff on the floor and when people get in they don't drip off ,I heard alot of people complain because all there towels were wet and they pack you in tight in the back.Maybe if you tell Tonie that she has to get in to do the assignment she'll get in for awhile and then like it.WIll she have to have pics of them with her?

Was your last cruise just last year?

The one day this week there was a waiting line to get into the nurse at school. At around 12:00 they had sent 65 kids home. Our weather up here has been crazy so I think that add to the people getting sick. You will have to watch if Cody has a cough they may give you a hard time getting on the ship.I've heard they sometime pull you aside if you seem like your sick.Hopeful none of us will be sick,I don't want to miss the cruise.

We really still haven't talked about what excursions we are going to do.  I'm sure if we do go and do the Stingrays ans sees that we are having a blast, she will do it too.

We took the Inspiration cruise April 2008.  It was our first cruise.  Kathy and I have been been looking at our cruises out of Port Canaveral.  The Dream is out of there and it looks to be a beauty.  I just saw on CNN on Friday that there is a new ship which is Royal Carribbean called Oasis of the Sea.  The ship 1200 feet long and holds 6300 people.  It has things like volleyball, basketball and a ton of other things.  I think they said the home Port is going to be Port Canaveral.  The Port is only about 31/2 hours from us.

So far this year he has not been sick...knock on wood.  When he does get sick Kathy pumps him full of meds...

So were you working Sunday or did you sneak on at home? Our first cruise was in April too.You have alot more choices living in Florida to cruise out of without having to fly.We really only have NY and Baltimore and those ones are usually 9 days and don't go to the islands we want to go to.We also found that on the one 9 day we did we started to go stir crazy.I saw some of the stuff on the Oasis the guy I work with was looking it up today in class.

Have you done your fun pass yet ? I started it but didn't get it finished. At the time I started it I didn't know what hotel we were staying at and I needed Sarah friend passport info.Guess I better get it done.

No..I wasn't working on Sunday.  I was watching the football games and had my laptop opened to my Fantasy Football Leagues.  Was able to sneak a peek at the website occassionally when the kids were not around.

I agree, we have a few more ports to go out of....Tampa, Miami. Port Canaveral and Jacksonville.  We keep looking at future cruises out of Port Cananveral as it is only about 2.5 - 3 hrs away.  The prices seem to be a little more expensive though.  Why did you feel crazy?  Not enough to do or basically the same stuff day in and day out?

We have not printed out the fun pass as of yet but we paid off our tips yesterday with our PVP.  One more money thing out of the way.

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

I posted yesterday morning, but I don't know what happened to it.The comp. was acting up I guess it just ate it.

When ever I want to look at something with out the kids seeing it they always seem to be around. THe only port that we haven't gone out of is Port Canaveral.I wonder why the prices are higher at that port.I was looking at some of the cruise for 2011.The ones that I want to go on don't go at times that the kids could go .I thought it would be easier with Justin in college ,with more time off,but I think it's worst.I would like to go some of the islands that we haven't been to.

I think on our 9 day cruise we started to go stir crazy because RC didn't have alot of things to do.We like to do the trivia game and those type of things and they only did them like once a day.We also have an inside room and there rooms are alot smaller then carnivals room and  it was a little cramped.I think the cruise was just a bad cruise as the service was not good at all.Other people were complaining also about the service. We often had to clear our own tables to be able to eat lunch and breakfast.I think they had a lot of new workers that didn't know what they were to do.

I printed out our fun pass last night.Had to wait till Sarah's friend got her passport. She is bringing her passport into school today for me to keep safe. When we called her to get info they had already misplaced it. So have you figured out how you are telling the kids bout the cruise?

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

I have been posting for two days now and none of them would go thru.Every time that I try to do something on the comp. that I don't want the kids to see they always seem to be around, but when I need help with something I can't find one.

The only port that we haven't gone out of is Port Canaveral.I wonder why the prices are higher for that Port. Are the ships newer or bigger ones? I was looking the other day to see if they have any thing new, but the ones Iwant to go on are at the wrong time of the year.

I finished and printed out our fun pass last night.I had to wait for Sarah's friend passport to come.It came last week and when I called to get the info. they had already lost it.I now have her passport so they can't lose it.

The 9 day cruise was on RC and they didn't have alot for us to do. Ithink Carnival has more stuff to do like trivia games.RC service was bad that week also, alot of people were complaining.

Sorry haven't posted in a few days.  Been very hectic at work and haven't had the time to come to the site much.  It seems the days are really starting to drop off now.  You said in your last post that you printed your passes already?  It seems that you are really raring to go.  I think we need to start thinking about the stuff that we may neeed for the trip.  Are all your tickets purchased and your reservations made for your hotel?

Yes I printed out our fun passes. We  have had our airfare since July.Glad that I bought it back then, the price has gone up about 500.00.Hotel is booked. All that I have to do is book Mr. Sanchos.Sarah and I are going to pack every thing we can on Friday, since we have off.We are getting excited and ready to go.Sarah's friend can't wait.but I think is getting a little scared about flying. She is also bringing her stuff over to pack.I can't believe we are going to be 50 days this week. Have you figured out how you are telling the kids?

No...we haven't talked about how to tell them yet...although the thoughts have been going through my mind.  I think they will be shocked and excited that we held out telling them this long.  The days are really starting to drop off now.  And with Christmas around the corner too, things are starting to get chaotic.  Oh boy people, hold on to your seats now....

Sarah has started a count down paper chain. Her and her friend are really getting excited. Her friend brought most of her clothes over on Friday so that we could pack.I was hoping we would only have to take 6 suitcases, but that doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Have you decided what you are going to do in the islands yet? That is the only thing that I have to book yet I keep forgeting about it.

Do you do any thing special for Thanksgiving ? We usually do Thanksgiving day with Jimmy's family and I cook dinner on Saturday for my side of the family. This year we aren't having dinner with Jimmy's family as his mom is having knee surgery this week.

Things have been crazy at work so the days are going fast .Some days It seem like I just got there and it's time to go home.We just finished one of our fund raiser that I do with the kids.We made 145 candles. Now this week the pumpkin rolls start.

The suitcase thing is funny...on our first cruise we took 8 suitcases, but I think this time around we are going to pack alot differently.  No, we still haven't come to any conclusions yet on the excursions yet.  I think once we are down to the final weeks or so I'm Kathy and I will took about it more on exactly what we want to do.  For the past few years we have gone to Kathy's father's house, but this year he is in NY.  So we are celebrating Thanksgiving by ourselves.  My turkey for us....Yeah the time is really starting to drop off now.  Christmas shopping is in full swing.  Where have all the holidays gone?  It seems that they all mesh into one...

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

We may in up with 8 suitcases this time.I was hoping to put our beach/shore duffel(which we have all our masks and snorkels in) in a hard case suitcase so that we can bring some booze home.So on the way home we may have one more suitcas..We have tried to bring less clothes but that doesn't seem to work. The one cruise we went on in Nov. they had freaky weather and we had to wear our one pair of jeans all week so now we bring extra jeans. That cruise was fun to watch people, most of the people from the north wore the same clothes( jeans and sweaters) all week and the people that didn't have jeans wore there bathrobes and often blankets from the room or the beach towels.

It seem once the back to school sales are over then the holidays all blend to together. We had Christmas trees for sale in Oct.It's crazy.I have most of Christmas gifts wrapped already.Sarah want to go out shopping on black Friday with me this year.I don't think she knows what she is in for.Does Cody still believe in Santa?

Re: Roll call Inspiration Jan 2, 2010

Kathy wrapped the Christmas presents yesterday.  This gives us an idea what we need to still go out and get.  I'm sure there is always more to get.  I used to do the Black Friday thing by myself, then Kathy started coming with me.  There really isn't anything major that we need for the doorbusters.  Although it is a blast watching people get crazy.  Cody believed in Santa up until a couple weeks ago when he came right out and said that I know there is no such thing...I know it is you guys....
