Progreso or Calica?

I'm trying to decide between two cruises. One stops at Progreso and the other at Calica? Any opinions?

If you choose Calica, better plan on booking an excursion - it's an industrial port normally used to load ships with rock/sand - there's NOTHING there!

love calica went i went there I really enjoy the beach and just shopping not much to see but I really had a phenomenal time.we were supposed to go to Grand cayman but because a coast guard helicopter rescue was no other choice than Calica, not bad at all

Depends on what you are looking to do in Mexico. Progresso is great for visiting the ruins but the beach isn't that nice. The water in Calica is as clear as Cozumel. I would suggest XCarat.
