Weather issues for the Mexican Riviera are June to October - hurricanes, heat & humidity.  And those are also the peak months for that cruise.  If you are going to change your date, I would recommend changing to the end of October (earliest).  Best time would be November to April; perfect time is end of November to the end of February. 

Don't forget, you cannot predict the weather.  I think the hottest and most humid time we were on the Mexican Riviera cruise was one year in December - normally that time of the year is the best.

Thank you so much for the info. I think that we might just stick with the date that we have. You are very right about the weather being anyones guess. I just want it to be warm enough to layout. When we went last Jan it was so cold!!!!
