Right Bunnyette!  A day at sea is 100 times better than a day at work!

The weather does look awful for Monday west of Cuba.  Hopefully we'll take "the long way 'round" and head to the east of Cuba - destination unknown.  But as long as I have Chocolate Melting Cake, it's all good!

Well - we are back.  I can't believe it's all over and just 3 days ago we were sailing the Caribbean.

How was it??? Do tell. We will be sailing on liberty on Nov 21-28 and with a couple more days left, the excitement is growing.

It was wonderful!  They flipped the itinerary for us because of hurricane Ida - so we were in Ocho Rios on Monday, Grand Cayman on Wednesday, and Cozumel on Thursday.

The ship is beautiful and was immaculate.  The crew was amazing - even the bartender who sold us our Soda cards in the first hour aboard remembered our names all week.

We did the Sky Explorer  to top of Mystic Mountain excursion in Jamaica - it was nice.  Once at the top we did the Bobsled - that was a blast!  If I had it to do over again we wouldn't buy the excursion from Carnival - we'd just grab a cab.  It's very close to the pier and we could have saved some money.  The infinity pool at the lodge at the top of Mystic Mountain is beautiful, but it's very small.  Not a place you'll want to spend all day.

On Grand Cayman we took the "Allura Catamaran" tour to Stingray City.  This was AMAZING, not to be missed.  The Allura is really nice - on the small side, which I enjoyed.  There were only 25 of us on the trip.  Not sure if that is a normal size group, or small, but it was nice size.  The crew of the Allura was also so nice, and Lue (the photographer) was super!  She took the time to talk to the kids about not being scared of the Stingrays, and took tons of pictures.  Of course you have to purchase the pictures, but there were 5 of us in the photos and we got some great group shots as well as individual shots of each of us with the rays.  We purchased all of our pictures (approx. 80 of them!) on a disc for $90.  MUCH cheaper than the pics Carnival sells.  I wish we could have spent more time here - as it was so beautiful!

In Cozumel we just grabbed a taxi to Mr. Sanchos.  It was a nice place, and I enjoyed it except for the pushy shop vendors you have to walk by to get to the beach.  It was very windy that day, and we weren't able to do any snorkling - but the kids had a blast playing in the big waves.

You will have a great time!

Here is a picture of my 8 yr old nephew getting a "hug" from Dottie (the Allura crew actually named her and use her for these pictures each trip.  They call her Dottie because she has white spots on her - though you can't see them in this shot.)  This is one of the many pictures taken by Lue.

Hooray, I was completely wrong about the weather - while a little windy, nice sunny days and nothing spoiled our great time.  Behind the Fun tour was amazing as were all the ports.  DH said it was one of the best vacations he had - right up there with our African Safari
