    Good morning.

Here are a few answers from a repeat cruisers' point of view:

Since Panorama is the uppermost deck, if there is any "roll" due to heavy seas, you will experience it more than others.

No fridges that I've encountered, but the stewards are ususually quite good at providing ice and all other amenities upin request -- and often before you know you want them.

Deck hogs?  Sure, but that's no surprise given the number of different personality types.  Finding a nice deck chair is usually easy.

Formal nights -- Sainted Wife Mary Beth She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed -- tells me that there will only be one.  I wear my wedding tux, just to get some use of it, but I find the formal nights merely dress-up fun.  It's what you make of it.

Safe size -- relatively small, perhaps one-third of a cubic foot.  It'll hold your passport, wallet, some jewelry.

Radio and alarm clocks?  Nope.  But the TV will give you some audio and stewards will wake you.

Final, unsolicited advice -- dress for the climate; we're not going to Jamaica, mon.

    Be well.

Does anyone feel like a kid waiting for christmas morning and you know you got a real cool bike. I wake up everyday and run to the calendar to cross the day off.

How old are your kids ?  We have a 13 year old son who loves the Carnival Children's programs.  This is our seventh cruise on Carnival but first to the Maritime Provinces.  I am concerned that it is going to be chilly with highs in low 70's and windy.

We are looking forward to meeting other families with teens.

The suitcases are  out ,  Starting to  gather  all the gear needed for this  trip..

I have  a question.. Are  there Irons  on the  ship ? I dont wanna have to drag a garment bag  and I may need to iron a shirt if the  steam in the shower dont get  wrinkles out . what are other options ? I dont wanna Pack a  iron . what do you  folks  do ?

We take our shirts to the dry cleaner (just like we do for our dress shirts for work each day) but instead of having them returned on a hanger, we have them "boxed".  They're all nice and neatly folded and don't seem to wrinkle at all as long as you don't crush them in the suitcase.  But to answer your question, yes, there are irons in the laundry rooms

Poconos and Russ, I get a kick out of reading all your posts. You are like kids at Christmas time. Wish you smooth sailing and good weather. Take good care of the Triumph as I will be taking my first cruise on her in November. Poconos, if you would, please write about your cabin when you return. We are in the same one and I have time to change if it is not perfect, but I am sure it will be. Enjoy your cruise to the max.
