Less than a week to go!!!!  We're going on a cruise, we're going on a cruise, we're going on a cruise....don't mind me, I'm giddy with anticipation!!!!

My hubby and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary with this cruise.  We are very excited.  Especially since he's been working a gazillion hours and I've been in summer school for the last 6 weeks (microbiology) and will be taking finals on Thursday.  Sunday CAN'T get here fast enough!

We've cruised 3 other times but never did any shore excursions.  Hoping to change that this time and could use some input to booking through tour companies...the ones through the ship seem so expensive.  Massages would be nice too in port...the spa is toooo expensive.

Looking forward to making new friends and relaxing.

We are all getting exciting about the upcoming trip.  I will be traveling with my 9 year old daughter, my 61 year old mother, a good friend and her 15 year old daughter again this year.  We have planned to swim with the dolphins, have a zipline adventure, and horsback ride on the beach.  I agree the ship excursions are rather expensive.

I used Shore Trips for our excursions.  Our experience has been smaller groups, longer adventures, and great guides.  Take a look at www.shoretrips.com.  If you see something you like, register and book your excursions through them  If you decide to go with them, I ask that you list Roxanne Lamb (me) as your travel agent.

Hey,  hrgoddess. I see that you're from Cupertino. My wife and I are from Campbell. We're flying a day early on the JetBlue 9:15 am flight from San Jose. Then we're gonna fly back the Sunday we return which will be the JetBlue 1:35 pm flight from Long Beach. Any chance you're boarding the same plane? Look forward in seeing you on the cruise.

Yay!  Locals on the cruise!  My son and I are flying in on Sunday morning.  We are flying Southwest to LAX.  We are flying back on Sunday, Southwest also.  It would be great to connect with you two!
