I will continue to add posts as I can. If you are in Cozumel and looking for a good Excursion, Do the Buggy and Snorkel tour. Request Santigo and JC as your guides. There were a blast and made the excursion one of the best I have been on!

Again, this was an incredible week aboard a great ship!

Jen the cruise director drove us freaking nuts! We believed she just liked to hear herself talk sometimes!! We had a balcony (#5127) and loved it. It was our first balcony and now we will never go back to anything short of a balcony.

We booked the beach buggy and snorkel tour though Carnival. I forget what the price was, but it was not bad for what we got. The snorkeling was great and then the drive to the souther point of the island was fun. You have a nice lunch at a beach front location and a stop at a Mayan ruin, Lighthouse and a chance to see Croc's in their own environment. The buggy's are awesome. 4 speed and they can move. Santiago and JC were awesome. I highly recommend them! Email me and I can send you some pics from the excursion.

Thank you for being so willing to share your experiences.  My husband and I are sailing at the end of March - and trying to finalize excursion details - and would really appreciate being able to see your pictures.  Our e-mail is jjsrwe@comcast.net. Glad to hear you had a good time.

Did you do any night activities such as the piano bar, or any dancing? I was wondering what kind of dancing is available. On the Glory, it was all rap in the main dance area.

Actually, we did not make it to the night clubs on this cruise. We were both exhusted from the excursions and then feeling the effects of a couple bottles of wine with dinner. Next time we will only do one bottle of wine. The clubs looked like a great time however. Sorry for the lack of information there.

We are looking for any ship highlites, or "things not to miss"..  Have sailed CCL before, but never have been on the Legend!  Curious about the 'anytime' dining, even tho' we picked 'late'..  Have heard it is possible that we may not get what we requested (late) due to the 'new' option!!Surprise

We probably won't be 'clubbing' it either... Lots of ports!!  And a few 'buckets-of-beer' here and there, will certainly shorten our days (at least mine)..  We also like to just 'sit' on the balcony, watching the wake, so a lot of time is spent there..  Cool

We found that hanging out at the pool on the back of the ship had the best service and fewest kids. It is supposed to be adults only, but not really enforced. The servers there, remembered us each day and knew exactly what to bring us when we sat down. Needless to say, we had plenty of drinks. We had the late sitting as well. I am the type of person who likes to eat early, but really glad we got the late seating. We never had a problem getting what we wanted for dinner. Lobster night, I had two tails. It was fantastic. Plus, with the late seating, we never had to rush after our shore excursions. If you do have the late seating and can get table 115, and Armini and Armani (Believe that is their names) you will be extremely glad you did. They were awesome as our wine steward and waiter. If you are going to have a bottle of wine with dinner, get the premium wine package. 5 bottles of good wine for $150. The Cab was very good! Do not waste money in the spa. We really felt very short changed after our couples massage. Just very over priced. We spent our first day, just walking around the ship taking it all in. If you can get to the port at about 11:00am, it will take about 30 - 45 minutes to get on the boat. We found that beginning at about 11:30, all the shuttles from the airport begin to arrive and the lines just grew from there!

You enjoy your cruise! Hopefully some of this information helps. If you have any other questions, just let us know.

I thought they had open seating on the Legend?

I think Legend only has the early or late seating. They only have one dining room so there is no open sitting option...I think. I am sailing March 8th on the Legend and this is what I thought. I could be wrong.

Hmmmm. I called Carnival today and was told by Christian that they have open seating in the one dining room and all the ships will be converting to open seating. He said some of them already have it. If they dont, this is a deal breaker for me....

They have both. They have an early and a late seating for dinner as well as open seating for those who choose to eat when they want! There can be a long wait for open seating the first couple of nights.
