Sixty days away from sail-away.  How are our prospective cruise mates faring?  It has been pretty quiet on this roll call.

Zingy congratulations on your 31, my wife and I just had our 31 on Sep 9th, and we also are booked for 11/11/09 cruise.  we will be cruiseing with my sister and brother-in-law who are also salseros for Luv2Dance info.  If carnival has a salas night on deck we will be there.  My friends say that me being married this long only means my wife Pat can take a joke.  This cruise will be our eight and looking forward to it, 54 more days and let the party start. And Lov2Dance Happy B-day this one's for you.

 Congrats are in order for both you and your wife, Pat as well.  Well done to you both...31 years is a long time.  Perhaps your wife Pat and my wife Donna are somehow related....It appears both have a good sense of humor and a high "tolerance" for any foibles we might have...lol.    Hope to see you, your wife, and all of your friends on board!

My wife & I are going to be sailing on this cruise. I have arranged for my wife & I a personal guided day in Acapulco that includes 4 hours at a Beach Club (same as carnivals beach break excursion) along with a short tour of acapulco city and then caped off with an evening show at the cliff divers. There is room for up to 6 more people at a cost of $75 USD per couple. Love2dance I see your from north county and traveling with seven friends, here's a money saving tip.  Terminal parking is 15.00 a day =120.00 for a 8 day cruise if your taking just two cars in your group that's 240.00  you can get a limo to pick you up from north county with your friends and a bottle of bubbly for less then every body driving and parking at the terminal.  I'll be picked up in oceanside and dropped off at teminal for less then parking for 8 days.  And I'll be one bottle ahead of you hope this helps. 28 more days but who's counting.

P.S.The only blackberry I want to see in your hands better come from your desert plate. lol

Less than four weeks to go!  Has everyone checked their rates with Carnival?  They have been dropping.  Some of our CC rollcall members have gotten OBC, we upgraded for a small amount $40 to a Balcony from an interior.  Some are getting the runaround, some haven't heard anything, right Zingy?  It seems to be easier to get the OBC if you didn't book with Carnival, doesn't make much sense.

Finally received email confirmation today about the OBC. We received a bit more than we expected (yay)!!!  Maybe will need to get our PVP involved more often in this.  After she got involved it only took less than a day for us to hear something.  Hope to see y'all soon.

My husband and I will also be celebrating a wedding anniversary onboard.  Ours will be our 17th. 

We look forward to a week away with no kids, no phones and just us to worry about.  We will be cruising with another couple from the metropolis of Los Banos, CA.

Hey Tony!  Actually, its been discussed and agreed upon with work...I will be blackberry completely free for the first time in 3 years!  Woo Hoo...I promise...the only blackberry I want to have end in 'tini

 Our group is down to four....but I still CANNOT wait!  I'm the only one in North County and none of us are parking...but thanks for the tip!  I will definitely keep it in mind for future events.  We are bringing lots of bubbly so hopefully it makes it to the ship and we will be celebrating!

 There is a meet and greet for the Cruise Critic roll call, will you two be attending?
