Has anyone been on a cruise that ports in Egypt?  I know that Royal Caribbean has an itinerary that ports there but I prefer to take Carnival.  If anyone has ever been on a cruise that ports in Egypt can you tell me a little more about it.  Do you see pyramids and the Sphinx? 

Haven't been on one either, but we also have been checking into it. Unfortunately, looks like Carnival won't be in the Med for a long time. We'll probably take one in about 10 years.

I haven't cruised to Egypt, but have been there.  The pyramids and the sphinx are a must see.  Also, the Egyptian museum.  Our hotel was right on the Nile River.  If you are interested in cruising, check out another cruise line ( sorry Carnival).  It's a once in a lifetime experience.  Very awe inspiring!
