Being our third Carnival Cruise (Conquest, Glory then Freedom) we were very excited and had even upgraded to a penthouse suite this time!  Much to our dismay, this time was very DISAPPOINTING.  The food quality, service and presentation were all sub-par at best.  While the cabin steward was great, we found that the rest of the service on board was lacking and I believe it is because of the pre-paid gratuities policy.  We had a great time on our excursions; Rainforest Canopy Zipline in Costa Rica and tour of Panama City and the canal locks in Panama.  We probably will not go on Carnival again, I think they are cutting their quality for cost saving measures and becomes an unattractive vacation choice.

how is it that on one thread in this forum, you had a penthouse cabin (which you were unhappy with by the way)....  on the Inspiration.

then, on that same thread, you posted annonymously again saying that you'd just returned from a cruise on Aug. 30 (unhappy, of course...)...AND, later in that same thread, you returned from your FIRST cruise on Oct. 25 - and said you'd never cruise with Carnival again...

Here, you've listed the 3 Carnival cruises you've been on and the Inspriation was NOT on your list but here's the clincher...you said that on that cruise you had a penthouse cabin for the first time...

Also posted negitive on 10/12 for cruise on 9/20.  Obviously nothing to do.

I responded to a thread by an annonymous poster with the same footer.."Always treat every cruise like it is the last one you are going to go on." The poster was complaing that they had a group of 15 ready to book on Carnival but decided not to do so because Carnival was wanting to charge for 2 infants that were going to come and that there whole family of 15 were soooo dissapointed that they were not going to cruise again.

 A response from another anonymous poster stated that we "are all brainwashed" because we disagreed and said that Carnival was right to charge a fee as there is a cost to those infants being on board....amazingly enough this anonymous poster had the same footer...

Now it could be another poster imitating the OP, but I suspect not and like you said we can easily go back and check the posts replied... but I am not going to because I think they are one in the same.

Did you notice how there is no "name".  There's no way for you or I to eliminate the name from our posts...while "investigating", I tried.  Even those posting annonymously have the name "annonymous".  The question I've been "dieing" to hear someone ask is HOW DID HE/SHE DO THAT?  The answer to that question will reveal the identity of this person (what ever they are calling themselves this week...I haven't been on the site to know the answer to that one...)

I'm fairly certain I figured this out back in january, but will not be the one to "tell".....

 John Heald is on right now...not sure for how long I think he leaves sometime in August.
