    Need New Activities On Board

I am a four time cruiser and three of those cruises have had the same activies on board every time. And it was different ships. they were fun the first time but you can run it in the ground. I am so tired of seeing the hairy chest contest and other games. Not sure I want to go back to that again anytime soon.

I sympathize, but frankly there's a fairly limited potential for sea-day activities.

Provide entertainment [Lido Deck musicians, etc]
Give instruction [dance lessons, jewelry seminars, etc]
Mass-participation games [bingo, trivia contests, etc]
Contrived limited-participation contests where a handful of select passengers volunteer to act foolish in front of the whole ship [hairy-chest, not-so-newlywed, etc]

I'm with you, frankly, but it's interesting to see who and how the foolish individuals will be each time.  ...where "interesting" equals "something to do for roughly an hour".

I agree. If I hear lets scream one more time! The bathrobe night was not planned well. They kept on saying there was a contest? None that I could figure out. They should have had the most unique way to wear a robe, which a few people I know did. During the day there is nothing to do. They need more music entertainment and dance lessons. Take a clue from the all inclusive island resorts- they have tons's of fun stuff to enter or do or just which others.

I would to see more instruction type activites you could sign up for to keep it limited where you could really learn something. I have been on ships where they have fruit & veggie carving demonstrations, but it was so crowded you could not see anything. Maybe something with a little hands on... napkin folding, towel folding, carving, flower arragements, cooking. They could also show a somthing on dealing & the casino.  I know they have one thing about the casino at the start of the cruise, but that is a busy time. Another option is photos & cameras.  There could be several different classes each day, so many people could enjoy them.  I have been to all the shopping shows & don't really shop much anymore, that is better for newer cruisers.
