2009 European Cruises

My travel agent said that Carnival has pulled out of the Mediteranian for 2009. Is there any truth to that?

Yes, Carnival has only 2 sailings for Europe for 2009, both in October, when the Dream hits the water.

Since their brand Costa is well-known in the European markets, they really have quite a presence there. Also Princess, Holland America, and Cunard (also Carnival Brands) still sail itineraries in Europe in 2009.

The Dream hits the water for the first cruise in Sept we're on the 10.15.09 and after that its go to NY and the islands.
