Fly aweigh program definately paid off

As many know, Glory had a medical emergency on board and had to divert to meet the coast guard and was delayed getting to port by 9 hours.  Since we booked everything with Carnival (plus insurance) they took excellent care of us.  They rearranged our flights (to Sunday) and put us up in the Crowne Plaza in Orlando over night and get us $30/person food voucher for dinner.  We didn't have to do anything.  They took care of it all, no cost to us.  I know those that didn't book Carnival flights, had to do it on their own and incurred penalty costs.  I sure am glad I booked throught Carnival and through this experience I will do it in the future.  Kudos Carnival!!

things like this are the reason I always fly in at least a day or two before the cruise and leave at least a day or two after.
