    Re: Senor Frogs

It's a chain party bar.  Like a chain restaurant, except it's a bar.  They're in most of the ports you'll go to, and one is pretty much exactly like the rest.

They'll serve overpriced drinks, and they'll be crowded, and if you like drinking a lot in a crowded bar, and paying more than you strictly need to to do it, then it'll meet your definition of "fun".

    Enjoy.

Desperately seeking 10th cruise for the free laundry.

Um well when my sister and I went to the one in cozumel with two of our dinner tablemates, it really wasn't that crowded. It was the middle of the day, and we were the only ship in port. The four of us had a good time, and while yes the drinks are a little over priced for some, really our bill wasn't too bad. My sister and I both had a drink and food and it was under $30, plus all the "shots" the wait staff gave us (four single girls mind you) pretty much made up for any over charging. We had fun with the staff, danced and had to force ourselves to make it back to the ship in time.

You can even buy their Tshirts and other self promoting souvenirs on the Pier, without visiting the place.  I think it's the thing to do if you're college age - sort of a badge of honor, lol.    If you're in the older crowd, not into chains bars, and you really want to experience, ask one of your ship bartenders where THEY go in Cozumel.  Ours sent us to a quaint, quiet, fun little bar right off the main drag with $1 Coronas.   thanks Mate!

If that's your thing go for it.  Just getting drunk is not my taste in activities while visiting a foreign country with so much else to do and people to meet and cultures to learn about.

Yanno, This is not the first post I have seen lwolf snuff his nose at. Dude, so this might not be your cup of tea, that's fine.. but why throw your negativity at other posters? Frogs, as well as carlos N Charleis are a LOT of fun to some folks, and you do NOT have to be young in your 20's to like it. My wife and I LOVE Carlos N Charlies in Cozumel and we are in our 40's.

Jpicano, I'm with you man... These places are a LOT of fun, and the drinks and party atmosphere are wonderful. Don't listen to those who say the drinsk are overpriced because both Frogs and Carlos N Charlies give out so much FREE booze, that by the time you leave there, you've actually paid LESS of a drink price then most anywhere else.

Enjoy man... have a blast.. It is YOUR vacation, not his! BeerDrinks
