Hi, I will be sailing aboard the Carnival Dream on my very first cruise and wish to become an official Monkeyhead. I have submitted the official oath...is that all there is to it? I will be sailing with my SO John and his two teenage boys and my daughter and her BF. We are all very excited!

Yep, thats it.  Only other thing you will need is a positive attitute and to have fun.  Then on board you will need to waste money on anything you possibly can.  LOL   If you wish you can drink from a coconut monkeyhead with your drink of choice in it on the day that they have them.  Have you pic taken so ya can post it with us other monkeyheads.  We meet outside the library at 10:00am on the first sea day to meet all the other monkeyheads aboard.   Too bad we have a long time to wait til 1/23/10.  But some of us are on other cruises in between time so the wait wont be soooo bad.

Positive attitude, having fun, and wasting money is without a doubt not a problem at all!!! My friend arb34 got me interested in the Dream cruise to begin with and now I am hopelessly addicted to reading these boards and trying to find out all the info I can. Thank you for responding.

If you have any more questions between now and then, just ask away.  There are alot of friendly folks in here that will help you out.

Being a first cruiser, I am sure you have a million questions.  We were all there at one time.

You know Sioux on the Dream Cruise we may not want to wait until the first sea day.  I know some of us will be meeting for dinner but we might want to set up a meet for the sail away if there are going to be a big group of us.  We can show the rest of them just how to party!!!  We can then gather any stragglers at the library on the first sea day.  Watcha think?

Sorry, Wynterdee, you soon will be walking around looking like me, red tired eyes from staying up too late every night reading the boards, but a big goofy grin from having such wonderful dreams about all the fun you are going to have on the Monkeyhead Dream Cruise.  It is a horrible all consuming addiction, but what the heck, it's fun, right  ?!!  Welcome to the addiction and so glad you are a Monkeyhead .  Now get you some fun Signatures, girl!  (Ask Tom very nicely and I bet he will send you some, too.) 

Sounds good to me Glassbeagles.  Hafta find a good place to meet for sailaway.  There are so many choices.  Lets seeeee,  how about at the aft pool bar???  If we all have on a monkeyhead shirt of some sorts we will be able to find each other.   There are usually tables set up around the pool area where we can sit and eat and drink or whatever.   Any other suggestions  where we could meet???   I am game for anything, well within reason.   LOL

Well, I have now officially booked my Dream Cruise, so I'll be joining you on 1/23/10!  YIPPEE!

Wherever you guys decide to meet, I'll be there, with my Monkeyhead shirt on!

Congratulations on your Dream booking. Glad you could join us in 2010. What seating did you pick for dinner ? Tom & Sioux, Karen and myself have picked the late seating and linked our booking numbers together so we can be seated near each other or at the same table. If you pick the late seating let me know so i can send you our booking numbers. If your interested.

Thanks, Joe!  I won't know my seating until after I pay my full deposit, which will be after my Nov cruise so I can take advantage of the $50.00 discount they give you if you book w/in 60 days after a cruise.  I should know my cabin # then, too, and I plan to pick the late seating.  I think Sioux is keeping all this info, isn't she, and linking us together?  But, I'm definately interested in sitting with all of you!

I can't wait till then, but, in the meantime.......

Only 34 more days till my next cruise, or, as Tom would say, 33 & a wakeup! lol
