    Purchasing Photos Taken On Board

I've read a lot about the photographs that they take on board - that they are expensive, but become less expensive on the last day of your cruise.  I was wondering whether they will sell you a CD with all of your photos included on it, or if your only option is to buy the prints?

I plan to bring a camera of course, but I enjoy the quality of a professional photograph.  All advice concerning the photos taken by staff is welcome!

    Thanks!

I have not seen where they are cheaper on the last day.  Usually it is an offer for a photo album for free or the album at a reduced price.  They do not offer the photos on a CD so your only option is individually.

The photos are the same price throughout the cruise.

There are no digital downloads onto any medium for purchase or otherwise, though this has been suggested countless times, along with having the purchase of photos being handled like excursion tickets and S&S reviews -- on the in-cabin television.  It would save printing costs [and the massive waste], and serve to lower the cost.

Unfortunately your only option is to buy the [rather expensive] print.

I think the formal night photos are somewhere around $20 each which is kinda pricie. None of the cruise lines provides any photos on CD or any other electronic format.

They may not change the price of the photos; however, they do offer different specials during the duration of the cruise.  They generally only last one day though.  Like they might give you a free frame, or a free 5x7 or wallet sheet when you buy _____.  They put these type of deals under your door with your capers usually.

    Enjoy!
