    Inspiration Suite

My husband and I will be cruising the Inspiration on Dec 1-6, 2008.  I purchased a category 12 suite as a gift for his 40th birthday.  The suite is located on the Upper Deck -- as first time cruisers, will we be happy with the suite and the level it is located on?

There's no way for anyone to definitively answer that for you.  It depends on what you like.  Chances are real good that you'll like a suite better than a regular cabin, but cruising may just not be for you -- there's people like that.

Go with the flow, try everything once, and if you don't like it I'll go in your place.  Really.  It's not a bother ...

Rwilymz -- I'm so glad to know there are still kind people like you who would be willing to take our place on the cruise (LOL).

Actually, I should correct myself -- I have been on a cruise once before but it was at least 8 years ago when I was still single.  I know I will enjoy the cruise and I'm certain my husband will too but I was more so wondering if the Upper Deck is usually known to be quiet or noisy, etc.

BTW, I've seen the "DH" a lot in this room -- what does it stand for?  I've guessed that TA stands for Travel Agent.  I'm picking up on the lingo here faster than I expected.

    I'm accomodating that way...

The "H" stands for husband.  The "D" can stand for anything you want it to: "darling" is probably implied, but "dopey" seems to be more appropriate a handful of the times I've seen it used.

We've had the Cat 12 suite on the Upper Deck of the Fantasy Class ships and they were great! BTW, the Upper deck is the only location for these particular suites on this ship. You've got cabins above/below you and you are mid-ship....excellent location!
