Ok! I just wanted to let everyone know who reads these blogs that I had a wonderful time on the Valor. This is a beautiful Ship. This was my 7th Carnival cruise and by far the best. I surprised my husband with this trip and he absolutely loved it. He thought we were going to a conference for my job I had to tell him something to get him to Miami. I was able to keep the secret right until we pulled up at the port. It was great. As we approached the port I gave him two cards. He was still clueless until he  saw the cab driver pull into the port of Miami. He was so surprised that I had pulled this off. This trip was planned 10 months ago. His mother kept the kids and it was great. I loved the ports we stopped at especially St. Thomas. Oh well time to plan our next one. The kids will go this time as we will be going during there spring break. I can't wait. So happy sailing to all of you. HAVE FUN!!!!!!

We were on the same cruise.... it was a second leg of a B2B... with the Valor being the first week

Some people had problems with the Destiny that week.... we didn't....everything wasn't 100% perfect.... but we didn't sweat the small stuff.....we had an excellent cruise.... just suffering withdrawal symptoms now..... I NEED TO BOOK A CRUISE!!!!!

Good for you to pull off such a surprise till the final moment!! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the ship and your cruise. I will be on the Valor for the same itinerary Oct 19th. I'm so excited, and so glad to hear the ship was wonderful. I've been reading some terrible things about problems with the Destiny, and must admit I was a little nervous, whew!!
