    Atlantis

We thought about catching a cab, after dinner, over to the Atlantis.  What can you see if you just walk around.  Do you have access to the casino?  I also heard that if you go in the evening you don't get charged for the aquarium.  Has anyone had that experience?  Any info. would be helpful.

    Thanks

I have also heard that if you visit Atlantis in the evening, you can see the aquarium for free.

We were there on the 9-20 cruise out of JAX.  We booked the excursion with Carnival, $50 each.  Included the water taxi both ways, nice but brief tour of the harbor, and an awesome tour of hte aquarium.  It was well worth the price just for the guided tour.  The tour lasted at least two hours.  After the tour we had lunch and spent the remainder of the time, until around 4:30, in the casino.  I think it was worth the price to have a knowledgable tour guide.

I booked a room at the comfort inn and suites that is right next to the atlantis for $155 tax included. That gives me 4 wrist bands and access to the casino, water park, aquarium and anything else the atlantis has. I thought it was a great deal, split that between 4 people and you come out cheaper than booking anything with carnival.
