If you're looking for somewhere to drink and
relax in Freeport
then Billy Joe's is for you. Just got back from the Bahamas and loved this place. We
didn't want to do a shore excursion and just wanted to relax. Went into Port
Lucaya $10 round trip per person. You go past the Isle of Capri Casino and the
beach is right in front of you. Make a right when you hit the beach and its a
few hundred yards up. Its right beside a water sports rental. It's a small
brown shack with a covered patio and picnic tables. They have live conch, ice
cold Kalik and reggae music. Our cab driver told us about the place and every
local we asked also said the best place to go. I live in Florida and the Billy Joe's conch blew
everything I’ve ever had out of the water. My girlfriend is from the Caribbean and she agrees, best conch she's ever had.
