Remember a cruise is what you make of it, and its better than being at work. I've read some people weren't impressed with the food, well I won't be cooking it and it won't be hamburger helper, so how bad could it be? As far as not being impressed with entertainment, everyone has different taste from what I've read they do a country music show, if you don't like country you probably wouldn't care for the show. And we don't get out of the house much, so how will we know if it's bad or not?!
Just go knowing nothing is perfect, there may be something you don't like, there may be a problem, but you're on vacation, on a cruise, going outside the USA, how bad could it be? And the price of the cruise was very reasonable so don't expect a $5000 cruise when you paid far less. BTW if you haven't called Carnival to see if you can get credit on your sail & sign card since the prices have gone down, you need to call asap.
