    cat 11 staterooms???????

Hi we are going on the october 19th cruise and staying in a cat 11 suite stateroom no 6164.  I cannot seem to find any picures of these rooms, only of cat 12 suites. Can anyone help me with pics/info??  also if anyone has any recent info on camp carnival activities as i have a 3 and 6 year old.  We are travelling from the UK and there is not much info around here about carnival, Thanks!! The Category 11 rooms (suites) on the Pride are similar to the penthouse (category 12) suites.  The only major difference is in the square footage of the room and balcony.  The category 11 suites are slightly smaller inside and have a slightly smaller balcony.  Here is a website that lists what each room category has on the Pride:  http://www.choosingcruising.co.uk/cruiseweb/cabins.asp?client=choosing&nShip=271

Camp Carnival activities may vary slightly by ship, however you can go to the Carnival website and on the top line menu there is a selection called Onboard Fun.  Under that category select Youth Programs.  Camp Carnival is located under that heading.  There is some generic information listed there for toddlers (2 - 5 yrs), juniors (6 - 8 yrs), and intermediates (9 - 11 yrs)  There is also a video clip (about 5 minutes long), from the Carnival Freedom, which gives you an idea of what Camp Carnival has to offer.

Hope this helps....have a safe flight from the UK to the US and have a great time on your cruise!!

Wow, thankyou for alll the info! The kids clubs look fantastic! I was a little confused regarding the differences between cat 11 and 12 so thankyou for clearing that up also!  I also hope for a safe flight....and an uneventful one if possible, eleven hours for a six and three year old to keep still won't be fun!! I just hope we arrive in one piece!

    Thanks again!

You are quite welcome!!!  Here is a website I found that may shed some more light on the Pride.  There is a lot of nice information here, including pictures.  Some of the links may not work though.         http://cruiseclues.com/shipstips/carnivalpride.htm

Here is a site that will also give you a lot of great information in preparing for your trip, etc.:  http://www.seauonboard.com/

I was reading yesterday on carnival stuff. Guest sailing in category 11 & 12 staterooms are eligble for the skippers club VIP boarding and when the cruise is over getting off first. Please ask for the skippers club upon entering the terminal. I can't wait. for more good reading go too www.seauonboard.com it helped me alot, Natasha if I can help you for just write me we are going on our 4th cruise. Have a good time. lynnktx@aol.com

Thats great about the VIP boarding, I had no idea! I have had a look at the recommended site and its a great scource of info-thankyou! When is your next cruise? We went on our first cruise last year-on the Disney Magic, it was wonderful and we are now hooked! We prefer to cruise from the USA as the exchange rates on the dollar are great at the moment and find the US  cruise destinations a little more exciting for younger children (and sun-loving parents!) Thankyou!
