Is Blackbeard's Cay (I think that is where the Yellowbird is taking us) a nice beach?  I've been thinking of how hard it will be to get down on one knee when snorkeling and finding a shell (with a ring in it) is more common on a beach.

When we went to nassau we did the Black Beards Beach Break and I don't remember the beaches name but the Yellowbird party boat did stop there. The boat only spent about an hour there.  

Thanks for the info Joe.  I've read many people complaining about sand fleas biting there so a little DEET should take care of that or just stay in the water.

Don, yes, during the cruise is my plan.  Right now thinking of maybe finding some sand on Blackbeard's Cay, having Tom and Sioux draw a heart in the sand with 'will you marry me' inside.  The we would walk up on the sand, a shell holding the ring will be part of the question mark,  Pick it up, hand it to her, get on the knee, etc.......Plus I will have discrete video/pics taken by assistants.  Anyway, that is the plan as of now. Not sure if it will work there or not given room, type of sand, etc.

I went back and read all of those postings from the Old Monkey head pages. It is amazing how many people back then that were interested in going on the dream cruise and are no longer seen or heard from. Most of the posters on that page have not been logged in for approx a year or more.  It is kind of sad that there was so many fun people at the start of this cruise idea that wanted to go and now that it is only 75 days away from reality there is only a few of us original ones left. It sure would have been nice to see some of the original posters that help get this dream cruise idea started be able to sail with us. I for one would love to see you guys who are not on here anymore. Come join us guys and gals because there are a bunch of cabins still left to rent. The Caribbean is not going to be the same after Jan 23. 2010

I am still around but don't get on this thred as much as I did before my heart attack in April. But I have been given a clean bill of health and we are on the Dream Cruise on Jan. 23rd. Only 75 days, can't wait. Lew.
