WhenD--Are you back?  Did any of these suggestions help?

We are less than 30 days away from our cruise and...I too have hit some sort of wall.  (I'm sure it wasn't due to reading WAY too many posts on this site....Confused)

I'm all of a sudden not excited...  I'm worried that it will all go by too fast....  I'm concerned that I'll pack too much.  Or too little.  I think about sleeping too much on the cruise.  Or too little.  Oh, I could go on.....

    Help!

I never got that way before our last cruise.  In fact, I was just the opposite.  I made a list of things I needed to pack and started packing most of the clothes, etc.  So when we got to the final days we just had to to put in those last minute items that you need to use but also have to pack before you go.  The list helped me as I checked things off as they got packed so I didn't forget anything.  I think most of us overpack a bit but for us gals, we never know what we may want to wear and it never hurts to thro in that 1 extra outfit. Wink  You will get excited again and the blah's will go away. Smile

They really come back after your cruise and you are home.  I am going thru cruise withdrawal and still wish I was on the ship and my hysband misses the food....  how long does this last??? Sad Talk about the "Blah's".  So I guess in my mind I am planning our next cruise tryimg to decide where we will go.  Smile

I am back!  We had a great time.  All my excitement returned once we got to our room and I went out on the balcony... Ahhh.... It was great.

I discovered something new about myself on this cruise :  I - Love - Hurricanes!!  (the drink).  Man... I don't know how I missed these my whole life, but man-o-man, they are nectur of the Gods!  I had three for Breakfast on Saturday.  :)

They are the first Drink of the Day - Get one, get many!

The only cure for the post cruise blues is to book another one.  The only cruise I haven't gotten depressed once we were on the downside  is to know we had another booked within 3-4 months.  Addiction is a serious thing.LOL

    No.

They'll charge you, what? $5.75 for a DoD in a souvenir plastic glass?  If you get another one it'll still be $5.75.  You can get the same DoD in a non-souvenir glass for $4.50 I believe, but it's the same volume as the souvenir glass [we poured the one into the other and they were the same, to within a quarter inch].

A DoD is fairly weak, and if you need the rum get a hurricane.

    Hi Tammylynn,

Your first drink of the day will be the regular price approx $5.00 to $5.75

You can do like we did and save your drink of the day glass. If and when you have it refilled you will save a $1 or so.
