Looking to see who will be cruising solo or single on this cruise.  I was also thinking maybe we could get a group table at dinner or have some group parties or shore excursions.  Just trying to get some ideas and feedback right now, let me know what you think.

Hi Karen and Chris!

Just a quick word to say though I am cruising with a group of family and friends I and several members of my group (both male and female) are indeed single so please don't forget to count us in on the singles fun!  We have singles who are in their late teens, mid twenties, early thirties, early forties, and late forties so let the fun begin!!!

Karen, I might be up for a parasail depending on what excursions are available.  The one thing I hope to do for sure is a beginner's scuba dive....but I'd really like to do this on Grand Turk as I hear the water is amazingly clear and the marine life is abundant.  I have scuba dived on every cruise but am not currently certified to dive alone and I plan to take my 19 year old neice who is a human fish with me .  Keep me posted on the parasailing though, because it is also something I've always wanted to do though a part of me is absolutely terrified by the thought of it....LOL!

I did the beginner scuba in Playa Del Carmen last Nov.  It was amazing.  I might be up to try it again in Grand Turk with you and your neice.  We will def count you in for the singles fun.  I'd like to meet everyone, hopefully on the first night so that we can make plans.  I know Carnival hosts a singles meet up on the first night and hopefully i will see you all there.  Counting down the days, Chris.

Hi Darleen.  I am 30 years old.  I will definitely keep you informed on any shore excursions that we do.  I'd like to see if anyone wants to eat in the supper club one night.  We might be able to get a group together.  I dont want to go alone.  I think it would feel odd, haha.  I did a solo cruise on the Freedom last Nov.  I had a great time meeting lots of new people and cant wait to meet more on this trip.

Wanted to let you know that my cousin Nicole and I will def be doing the resort dive package in Grand Turk while we are there nest month.  I was able to contact Mitch, the owner of Blue Water Dive Shop and he is willing to book our excursion directly.  The package costs $125 pp and includes course instruction, equipment rental, and a dive.  The plan is that the dive instruction will begin at noon (we dock at 11am), with the dive expected to be completed around 2:30pm.

 Of course we'd love to have you join us, and if you are still interested, you can contact Mitch by emailing him at rollingmitch32@gmail.com.  He was very quick to respond when I contacted him this morning and I will be making reservations for those in my group who are planning to dive this Friday afternoon.

Great to see everyone here and excited as the count down continues. The thought of parasailing frightens me as well, but I would love to just do it. Lets do it!!!!!  Each time I take a cruise and return to work. I just want to cruise again! I am so ready to meet you guys and just have some fun. If you all have a group that would like to eat at the supper club, you can count me in. I would love to eat at the supper club as I have always settled for dinner in the dining room. I am open for a new dining experience. I will also have to book the 2-hour sea weed massage- that is simply awesome. I have not booked any shore excursions to date. Karen O

I decided to visit the old town for an houer or two and after that I would like to relax in Margaritaville or on the beach. :-)

I wouldn't worry too much about the parasailing....I've never been to an island that did not have parasailing so we will see what we find once we are aboard the Splendor!  Can you believe we are down to 26 days?!  I can barely stand it!!!  Let the good times begin!

Don't forget about me.....Where are we meeting and when.  I'll be there with a drink in my hand.  Is anyone going to the singles meet and greet on the first night????
