    kids menu

My daughter is 7 and very picky with her food. She does not eat a lot. Can you tell me whats on the kids menu. Last cruise we went on she ate pizza everyday and it was not that good. I was hoping they had a better selection on carnival.

here is a link to a site that does post the kids menu.  It might be a little different now but it will give you an idea.  Also your daughter could always order off the regular menu if there is something that she would like on that one.

she will also be able to order just certain items off the main menu for instance if she wants to have say a burger but wants something that is offered as a side dish with a main course meal they will bring just the side dish out for her our cruise offered a homemade Mac & cheese as a side dish with a steak meal and my daughter got just the mac & cheese without the steak and veg.

my 5 year old is SUPER picky... and our server bent over backwards to get her foods she liked, even if it wasn't on the menu.  he went so far as to break open a case of grape jelly since he had made her a strawberry jelly sandwhich but she didnt like it.  he also managed to find her the pink stuff for pink milk and he was pretty damn amazing.  he also tried (damn near insisted) to giving me back the $50 tip i gave him on the last night (it was a 4 night senesation cruise).  He just said it was his job to do as he did... but you can't beat that bend over backwards devotion.

Any age kid can order off of any menu.  There are no age limits for food.  You can also order of the kid's menu.

Many years ago when my children were very young, a pediatrician told me to never worry about what to feed your child and let them pick what they want.  Over time they will do just fine and eventually get to a nutritionally balanced diet.  It is forcing kids to clean their plate and eat everything that is leading to all the childhood obesity along with TV and video games.  We let the kidsw eat what they want and they are doing just fine.  So please do not worry about your jkids being picky and eating on a cruise.  Just leave them alone and let them order what they want from whatever menu they want.  I assure you they will not go hungry.

lwolfson, I agree with you.  My son loves healthy foods, though: Spinach, broccoli, salad, etc.  I have 2 boys and they're both that way (lucky for me!).

Thanks for your response, and happy cruising!  Smile
