Hi, well I was just checking on other websites..on cruise prices. found that the exact cruise I am booked on is cheaper on their site  by $100 and a different ship is even less.

so will Carnival match price or not?

They have a low price guarantee, if it is legitimate, which so often, they are not.  But, only for the same ship, same room category, etc.

It depends on a couple of factors. Price matching will only occur if the same criteria exist. Same Ship, Same Sailing, Same Cabin Class - it's an apples vs. oranges thing.

What site did you find the cheaper price on? If it's an online travel agency, then it may be a group space rate which is $50-100 less per person than the standard individual rate that one would get from Carnival Reservations, or a PVP.

Just for everyone's general info - The "catch" for the Carnival Price Guarantee is only for legitimate advertised price for exactly the same cruise package within 24 hours of your booking. Ken

The 24 hours for price matching is pretty much an industry standard.  I believe Carnival will lower the price if you find it lower on thier web site before you leave.  My cruise just dropped so it is almost cheaper, I am still paying less, but you can bet I will check the Carnival site often!
