    cruising on sept 14th

i can not wait for this cruise first one ever. Just wondering how many formal nights are there? and how much does the spa cost to get a massage? i guess you have to sign up for that early.  Also my bf and I really want to do the pr bacardi factory tour but that excursion starts at 3pm that is when we are docking so i dont think we will make that. Is anyone planning on just going there themselves. I dont really no what else there is to do in pr. St thomas we booked the megans beach shopping excursion. Grand turks we will just go lay by the beach and have lunch somewhere. Another question is anyone bringing a garment steamer? are they aloud?

The new term is "elegant" nights and there are two of them, the first is the captains night and is usually held the first full sea day. the other is typicially the first full sea day of the return trip.  Last year we arrived in San Juan almost an hour early. and if you are booking the excursion through carnival then you will be able to do it even if we are slightly late. Upon sail away from San Juan there will be a deck party with a mexican buffet and music and dancing overall a really good time starts about 12:30am and lasts a few hours.

If you want my honest opinion I got a massage on our last cruise and I didn't think that it was worth it.  Then afterwards they give you a sales pitch and try to sell you something.  She told me how tense my muscles were...and I am a sucker and bought the stuff...for like $60.  From now on I am going to get a less expensive massage here in town.  Do what you want though that is just my opinion.
