    12/14/2008 ROLL CALL

Hello all!  I am doing an early roll call due to the fact that my husband and I are traveling with our 2 daughters and we would LOVE to be able to have the girls meet "new friends" while we are there.

A couple of questions: anyone out there reading this that has kids around the ages of 10 and 13..... those are the ages of our daughters. I guess we are worried that if my hubby and I want to go do something one evening, that our girls will be bored......

Anyone else who has traveled with kids?  Do that have a ton of things to do?  THe age difference in our girls will not make it possible for them to hang out at the same youth programs......any suggestions?

We are traveling on the same cruise as you all. Our daughter is 11 but this trip will be an adults only vacation; we just got back from 10 days at Disneyworld with our kids and we need some alone time. Last time we cruised was back in 2001 on Disney Magic. Our daughter was only 4 at the time and had a blast. We would drop her off at the Oceaneer's Club and they would give us a beeper in case they needed to contact us. Not sure about Carnival though but I am sure they will have activities scheduled for your girls.

We are cruising on the 14th as well, but we have no children going with us. The Carnival camp is a really great place! Although we do not have young children we took a tour of the camp and it will be a great place for them to hang out. They will not be bored!
