Excursions - Cabo by Land and Sea or Land's End Cruise

I have a question.  Does anyone know if the excursion Cabo by Land and Sea will have the same or similar sea part as the Land's end cruise.  We want to see the stuff on the Land's End Cruise but we want to take the Cabo by Land and Sea excursion.  I just want to make sure I am going to see similar things.

    Thanks

Did you ever get your answer?

Did you go on either one of these? I'd be interested in knowing how it turned out?

Pretty much every tour, even many of the water taxis going to Lover's Beach, take you out toward Land's End for a photo opportunity. It's the icon of the area.  It gets really crowded with boat traffic at times.

I never got an answer on this.   I did go on the Cabo by Land and Sea and it was a wondeful excusion.  It was a long day because you go on the boat trip around the Arch as you would on the Lands End Tour.  It is a pretty big boat, two floors, but it is a great trip.  You get right in between all the rock formations.   Then after that you take the land part where they take you to a hotel to look at the beaches,  then to downtown San Jose de Cabo, for shopping.  After that it is off to a cactus farm and then to a glass blowing factory.    All in all a great trip.   There are no stops at the beaches.  There is no lunch included but they do give you drinks.  If you want to site see and want to get a general idea of the area it is a great trip.  If you want to sit on a beach I would recommend the Land's End trip.

That's exactly what I want. Thank you!

Can you narrow it down to which one has the best photo op? lol

No, I can't. How close you get depends on the other boat traffic in the area and sea conditions. As long as the boat gets out to or goes around Land's End, you will get some really good shots. In fact, it is probably better to be farther away rather than "right there" for your pictures.

We did the combo excursion, in Nov 08 while on the Elation.....Lands End beach, shopping and resort.....took the catamaran to Lands End....the got real close for pictures....then went to the resort for lunch and drinks (saw the Elation out in the bay while we were ther), and then went on the shopping excursion in town.....seemed to be the biggest bang for our buck....loved it all. (FYI...Melly's excursion was not the same as ours).

Thanks, we've decided on a cruise to Cabo and are going to take this one (Lands End beach, shopping and resort) and the hardest part now is deciding if we should book now or wait until we are on the ship.
