TAKING MY FIRST EVER CRUISE WITH MY 18 AND 11 YR OLD DAUGHTERS (DAD AND SON OPTED OUT) ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO BRING, WHERE TO GO IN BAHAMAS,ETC. A LITTLE ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO WHILE WE WAIT FOR OUR ROOMS TO READY ? ANYAND ALLOPINIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED !!

Welcome to the addicts...lol.  First thing to do is check out Cheryl's website  www.seauonboard.com and go to Cruising 101 - ton of useful info!.  Bring a power strip (one outlet in cabin), notepad/post-its and pen for notes for fellow cruisers or cabin steward, highlighter to mark things you want to do in the Capers so you don't forget about them and whatever you do - Don't Over Pack!  I know - hard to do with the daughters....lol.  You should be able to wear shorts/capris more than once.  Last but not least - bring an open mind as sometimes things change (weather).  Just go with the flow!  When you and your lovely daughters get back hopefully you won't be able to stop talking about it and hubby and son will want to go on one.  Then you can all go since you 3 will be experienced cruisers....lol.  Happy Cruising!

stephlova, don't eat before getting onboard. While wating for your cabin to get readied go to the Lido deck and get something to eat, the food will be ready. Then go top side and watch the sail away.

I am going on that cruise as well...  I am so excited.  I took the cruise in may with my two sons and we have a very good time.  My birthday is the 27th, so this time I am going with my girl friends for and all girl, celebrate my birthday with me bahamas get away...  I was also planning on eating on the lido deck and having a few cocktails while waiting for my room...  Hope you and your girls enjoy.....

My family and I will be on that ship, too. My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and we did the 4 Day Bahamas Cruise on our honeymoon, too. :)
