White Water rafting in costa rica?

Has anyone done this in Costa Rica?? If so do they weight you befoe you go on? I run between 250 and 260. And I see that the maxium weight is 250 so I was curious are they down right strict on the weight?

From reading other posts on CC, it appears that it's more the ability to wear the lifevest properly that is at issue. So, they're probably not going to put you on a scale, but they might not let you in a raft if the vest isn't secured.

When I rarfted on the Pacura (not sure on spelling), there were some pretty big boys in the raft (and I was one of them). As above, as long the PFD fits, you should be golden.

Have fun and remember to hold on to the T-grip.
