Has anyone who has done a port stop in Progresso used a private tour operator "Yucataan Connection" to do a visit to Uxmal rather than the excursion offered on the ship?

We are exploring this option as we can go at our leisure, private coach for up to 5 or 8 people for 1600 pesos for 5, 1800 pesos for 8.  The advantage I see is it is a private coach, we can leave by 8 or 9 and still be back by 2 - 2:30 rather than having to do the excursion that departs at 7:00 a.m. and is a 6.5 hour tour.

The operator has indicated that if we left at 8, we could be back by 1 or 1:30 and have the private van to ourselves, tour Uxmal, and return.

 Just wondering if anyone else has done this tour with this operator.  Also, there are only 4 of us (2 kids, 2 adults) so we have room for up to 4 more if anyone is interested in sharing the cost and going on this private adventure.
