Can anyone who has been to St. Thomas help with shopping.  We will be there with the miracle the first week of september.  I have been interested for a while in upgrading my digital slr camera to something more up to date, and would love to know, if there are any shops that have this type of equipment,,,, Nikon to be exact.

 I'm sure you won't have a problem finding a shop to upgrade your camera.  There are plenty of shops in the downtown area.  Just take a cab ride over there and its mor than a miles walk of shops with great deals.  Just make sure you get some kind of warranty and make sure if you have problems with the camera you can send it back.

Are you also going to St. Maarten?  If so, there's plenty of electronics stores in Phillipsburg (take the water taxi from the pier - $5.00 all day pass).

 No we are only going to St. Thomas.... Will be looking for a good deal on an ipod as well, as my wife decided to leave it in her pants pocket when I did the laundry and did not check the pockets.

Water and Ipods do not go well together.    DOH!!!!
