    Weather in September

What is the weather and temperature like in the September timeframe?  My promised my husband an Alaskan cruise for our 5th which is Sept 2010.

Take layers of clothes.  It will be chilly in the mornings but warm up during the afternoon.  Take a light jacket so you can take it off.  One day I wore a sweatshirt and I love cold weather.

    Happy Sailing,

    TxSue

    Re: Weather in September

We were on the Spirit Sept.1, 2004 cruise. The temps were around 55 degrees day and low 40' evenings. Also quite a lot of rain. September is the start of their snow season. Would recommend warn layered clothing, a warm jacket, a rain coat  and water proof shoes.

I would recommend a balcony cabin. Well worth the money.
