Well, congrats to all on any occasion!!! I know we're going to have a blast.  Where is everyone coming from?  We're from North Carolina, but we're getting married in Louisville, Ky, then flying to Miami to cruise.

I cruised 15 years ago on my honeymoon! Now I'll be on the Destiny 15 years later on a girls cruise!!  Happy Anniversary to me!!!(oct. 16, 1993) The 4 of us girls are traveling from Ohio-GO BUCKS!!!

We will be on the Destiny on October 20.  It is the first time we have taken a cruise.  We will be flying out of Nashville early on the 20th. Looking forward to this.

we are booked and so excited...we are flying into ft lauderdale...i was on the carnival imagination and it was really fun...i would advice you to purchase those antinausea wristbands from pharma plus they are just 4.99 ..it will make for a nicer cruise should someone feel nauseated(can u tell I am a nurse!) Congrats on your 10th Anniversary!  My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary aboard the destiny on Oct. 20th and can't wait!  This will be our second cruise (the first on the Holiday out of Mobile, AL in '06) and we looking forward to seeing different ports. 

Hi, I've just joined the list, so this is my first post (hope I do it right!!)My mother and I will also be flying into Ft Lauderdale from Buffalo.(Live near Toronto,but MUCH cheaper to fly out of Buffalo) arriving aroung ll:00 AM. This is my second cruise on Destiny,the first was 4 years ago and it was great. My mother has never cruised before, so I'm getting some Gravol (dramamine) for her-just in case. I am really looking forward to the cruise as I've never been to any of these ports before.

hey i just got on board for this sailing. I had actually booked for december then last week my boss sent out a lovely letter that said "no vacations in november/december" so long story short ill be going 18 days away. managed to transfer the booking without any additional costs. cabin 8334. second time on the destiny first was in 99 cant wait to see the new additions. first time in an aft view balcony too going to be interesting

This is my third time in this cruise, Carnival Destiny. It is by far the most fun of all the Carnival ships. I'm traveling from the US Virgin Islands to Miami, FL.

We will be celebrating our 1st anniversary on this cruise... time to party!!!   this is our second carnival cruise.

 Jason from the previous post abve and I are coming from Orlando. Now does anyone know if they are doing anything Halloween themed aboard. Regadless  Im bringing my costume!

This sailing on board the Destiny will be my very first Carnival Cruise!

I've sailed Royal Caribbean twice previously, most recently last month on the Enchantment during Hurricane Ike!  The rough weather kind of "iked" up our itinerary, so I decided another cruise was the proper course of action.  As a Floridian, I might as well enjoy the close proximity I have to all the cruise ports.

I'm a single male, sailing solo and anxious to see what kind of stateroom I'll wind up with, having booked the guarantee 1A category.

Also anxious to hear more details about the status of Grand Turk and their hurricane recovery efforts, as well as which shore excursions will still be viable.  They got the tar kicked out of them by Ike, and it will be a long time before things outside the Cruise Center there return to normal.  I'd heard Carnival would offer us a volunteer-humanitarian-style excursion to help the residents of the island.   Does anyone know anything about this?
