My best friend and I are going on a girls only cruise. She has never been on a cruise before. I went on this same cruise ( same week actually last year). Anyone planning on being on that cruise? Would like to know more people while there.

Can you tell me more about the dinner and meet-n-greet? I looked on cruise critic and didn't see anything posted about it. Please let me know anything that you know. Hope you are as excited about the cruise as I am.

Are you sure you are on the August 30th sailing?  I dont have you down on our rollcall over at CruiseCritic. Plus noone on the rollcall has mentioned about meeting up the night before for a dinner.

 I see you finally found the rollcall over there.  When you get your S&S card, you will find your restaurant assignment, dining time and table on the card.   The dinner the lady mentioned was a pre-cruise dinner in the port with some folks on their sailing.  (turns out she was sailing on a different ship).  

Mobile is one of the easiest ports to get to and process through.  New Orleans based their new terminal on Mobile's design.  At around 10:45am, they will start letting you drive into the terminal.  You will turn in your luggage on the ground floor.  You will then drive and turn left to go up the ramp for parking.  You then take the elevator back to the ground floor.

You go through the glass doors and then another set of doors to the right where they will verify your documents.  You will then taken an escalator (sp) to the second floor.  After processing though the security equipment you will then go to the processing desks.  Once done, the seating area is to the right.

My husband and I will be there and we are ready to have lots of fun. This is our 1st cruise and I am sooo confused about certain things but I'm sure all will be okay.I just don't want to miss out on anything.

 Welcome aboard and to your first cruise.  Just dont let everything overwhelm you.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.  This will be our 7th time on the Holiday and cruise #20.

We are having a small get together after muster drill on the Lido deck aft.  There is a small bar outside plus it gives you a great view for sailaway.  If it is too hot, there is another bar right inside the sliding doors.
