    Hey Cruise Crazy,

Looking forward to cruising with you!

Just sit back and enjoy!  This is absolutely THE best way to travel for the money!  Grand Cayman and Cozumel are great islands to visit.  Don't listen to negative feed back as sometimes it's just the person. My mother is nervous cause she's afraid of heights but I told her there is no chance of her falling over board unless she wants to climb the railings and I don't think that will happen at 66!!  LOL Maybe we'll see each other there!  Have fun!

We definitely plan to enjoy and I hope that you and your mother do as well.  Have you heard how badly the islands have been damaged by the hurricanes?  I'm hoping that things are back to normal by the time we arrive! :-)

If we don't happen to "bump" into you on the ship, you all have a great time!

Back after the 2004 series of storms that hit Florida 3 times, I went on a cruise about the same time as this one.  That was the year that Grand Cayman and Cozumel got hit really hard.  In Grand Cayman although you could see obvious damage and most of the homes had blue tarps on the roofs, all the "tourist" attractions were up and running normally.  Since tourism is basically how these islands get their income, they usually get back in running order quickly.  I doubt you'll notice any problems. Just an FYI, we are staying on the Emerald deck.  Not sure about dinner yet but we are at the early seating. Hope you have a great cruise!

Hi! This is only our 2nd cruise ever. Our first was one month after 9/11. We were aboard the Fantasy out of Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Bahamas.  We didn't have a "great" experience aboard the ship. And, I was reluctant to book another Carnival cruise. However, after speaking to our Personal Vacation Planner, Michael, we are very excited to be going to Cozumel and the Grand Caymans. What is this Mother-Daughter Cruise I've read in here about? We look forward to meeting some new friends and having a great time. My husband and I would fall into your "older" adults (44 & 54) but we certainly dont feel our age! I cant wait to try out the new water park!! And hubby cant wait to get into a slot tournament or two!!  See you there!!  Cool

chiefymcwifey you'll Love Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  The "mother/daughter" cruise is just me and my Mom. We are on the Emerald deck, not sure what dining room yet but the early sitting for dinner.  My Mom is 66 and I'm 44.  I've done a slot tournament on my last cruise.  It was very fun but I didn't get too far!  On sea days you'll probably find us on the deck by the pool but we are planning a tour not thru the ship in Cayman.  The ship doesn't offer too many excusions that don't deal with scuba diving or stingrays which we aren't interested in.  I did the stingray swim on another cruise and it is great but my mother isn't interested.  We are going to do the Cozumel tour off the ship though.  Hope everyone has a great time!
