Just call carnival direct for pricing. I just booked the Dec. 5 one....Prices vary depending on room, location, deck etc. Also they have military discounts...ask about that if you are active, reserve or retired.

    Hello Willow,

I was booked on the Dec 5th 2009 cruise also, but I found out that Carnival had changed that date to Dec 3rd 2009. You should contact Carnival about the date you are booked under. I changed my cruise to Dec 12 2009 because of that. Also when Carnival changed the date they also changed the itinary. That cruise is NOT going to St. Marteen, St. Thomas or Nassau.

    Re: Carnaval Dream Pricing?

Willow.... Just yesterday I talked to our TA about getting military discounts on the Dream.  once again i was told that there will be NO discounts of any sort of the new ship during the first 6 mos of sailing.  I am going to have to get down and dirty and get right to the heart of this situation and get a deff. answer.  We have been using the same TA for the past 5 years !  Don't see why he should shaft us if there is a military discount trav. on the Drean in Jan. 2010 !   It realy should not depend on who you talk too....the rules are ALL THE SAME i would think.

If you dont mind me asking did u book any of the new cabin setups as in cove state rms or the cabin with the jr. tub and sink which i think is the delx balcony state room.  ??????

    Re: Carnaval Dream Pricing?

I sent you an e-mail on the military info via regulare-mail (does that make any sense)...I book direct thru Carnival and had no problem.  We do have a new pvp since our other "fella" no longer is there.  We did have to resubmit our military papers.  Maybe there is a difference if you are using a travel agency instead of carnival direct....willow

sowy... i did not get the e-mail u sent me via regmail (assuming it was my e-mail addy ur talking about)

We are using a Carnival TA Tom burke is his name.  He said that he has our military paper work on file...so we dont need to resubmitt that.  I am going to give him another call on Monday and recomf about getting military disc. on The Dream Cruise we booked for January 2010 !  i see someone just mentioned something about cruise dates changed.  I am going to site now to check that out.  thanks Willo for the info !!!  Cool  Temps finally cooling down in the early morn and late evenings here in Florida,....just love it when you can sit out side and enjoy the view the birds and nature !  Would not choose to live anywhere else but Florida Cool

I would try another PVP,I originally booked 12/05/2009 and there was no discount available, now since they changed the date and the length of the cruise, there is a discount,so the info you got about the ship has to be in service for over 6 months sounds like bull to me.I'm sure they work on commission so some are not willing to give the military discount,I remember once that I called 3 times before I got a PVP that offered the discount. The discount on this trip was pretty large and you can bet on the price continuing to drop because of the cruddy economy.

I too was told there are no discounts at this time.  I'm not military, but a pastguess.  My PVP did give me $50 off or will give me $50 once I complete my Jan. 09 cruise the dream will be my 4th cruise.  My PVP told me to keep checking for the past guess rates.

Sea Chell.... are you booked on the Dream in Jan.09 already ?  What kind of cabin are you getting?

    SonyTee,

The Dream doesn't come out until later in 09, so it won't be available in Jan 09, maybe you ment Jan 2010?

I've never seen Past Guest "Discounts" - The past Guest Rates that have been available in the past were more like free upgrades - You buy an 8A and get a 8C or 8D. I do realize in the currents they send out discounted rates, but those aren't as wide spead as the Past Guest "upgrades" which I've seen more dominant on a wider range of ships, sailings and categories.

    Re: Carnaval Dream Pricing?

Hello everyone!  My family will be sailing on The Dream, January 9, 2010.  I am very excited.  We booked our first balcony.  It is a cove balcony on the main deck.  We sailed on this deck in May on the Freedom and found it very comfortable.  The dining rooms are above us so there is no late night or early morning noise.

If any one gets a past guest discount let us know, please!  Our booking agent said to check with her every now and then to see if there is anything offered.  She also said she would contact us if anything came across her desk.  On our other cruise we did get a discount but it was after we had booked.   How did you put your picture in the post?
