I think I just posted on another thread for you.  Since it's a last minute change in itinerary, you will need to book any shore excursions onboard.  Go first thing once onboard when the shore desk is open to find out what they are offering.

Good.  Costa Maya's coming back online.  It was wiped out in one or another of the hurricanes a few years ago.

You'll love it.  A docking port with a private cruise plaza that has a large pool with a swim-up bar and shopping.  You can walk a mile down the road to Majahual where they will sell you beer on the beach cheap, give you cheap massages, and rent you little palm-frond mini-huts with hammocks.

They'll eventually get the excursions up for it, and there'll be the standards: kayaking, snorkelling, beach breaks.

Can anyohne tell me if you can snorkle at the beach next to where the ship docks? I know they said that the beach was very rocky, but can you get in andswim out a little to the coral reef?

    Thanks,

Walk down to Mahajual.  Thank me when you get back.
