    Margarettiville question

Hey we are  all getting closer and closer to our escape and i was wondering if any of the islands we will be on Has a Margarettiville? Looked on the web site and found one in Cancun but we will be at Cosmel does any one know if a person would have time after a shore excursion to get over there and back to the boat before it sails that evening.

I plan to go to Margaritaville in the Grand Caymans, there are a lot of them, I think every island we stop at has one.  I'm giving you a link to their website which lists all of them. They also have a link for cruisers.  Hope this helps.......

    Hi Kim,

There is a Margaritaville in Cozumel and in Grand Cayman. The one in Grand Cayman is right across the street from where your tender drops you off. If you go upstairs there is a pool with a slide. I didn't go in the one in Cozumel, but it's not from from the Punta Langosta pier which is right downtown. There is not one in Honduras and I didn't see one in Belize. Enjoy your cruise!

    Happy Sailing!!

We went to the Margaritaville in Cozumel last December; it wasn't rocking like Carlos n Charlies, but was a nice visit.

I couldn't figure out how to post a photo here, but it does exist, I promise!

    Re: Margarettiville question

The Margaritaville in Cozumel is a little south of the Langosta pier.  It's probably walkable, or taxis are always around.  If there's not one parked wherever you are, just start walking and taxis will offer their service.  Just agree on the price before you get in.  I would ask "How much to Margaritaville," or "Cuantos para Margaritaville."

I took this picture as we were sailing away...  (It's the yellowish building)

    Re: Margarettiville question

No need to get a taxi, it would be waste of money. Just walk. It's only a few hundred yards from the cruise port. Less then 1/2 a mile. Get off the ship, walk to the end of the pier, turn right and walk about 4-5 minutes and you are there. We spent the day at the Barracuda Hotel which is the orange building to the far left of the picture. Very easy walk! Enjoy.

    Happy Sailing!!

That depends upon which pier you dock at as to whether or not it's walkable, so keep that in mind and take note of which pier you go to.  Enjoy your cruise )

    Re: Margarettiville question

GetMeOnAShip is right. If you dock at Punta Langosta pier then it's walkable. If you happen to dock at the International pier, you will have to take a taxi. Enjoy your cruise!

    Re: Margarettiville question

Thanks, Janann!  I only went to Plaza Langosta, Senor Frogs, and the strip os stores to the north, or left, of the pier.  I never did go to the right, or south, so I have no clue how far down Margaritaville is.  It seemed walkable (from the Langosta pier) when I saw it as I took that picture.
