    Cruise wth a large family

We are a family of 7 and would lie to take a cruise to Alaska. Are there options for staterooms that would accomidate us. (We do have a budget). We are interested going at the end of July 2009

You might can fit in a suite; however, they are rather expensive.  You have to have an adult in each room, but then you can always switch once you get on board.  I would think it would be just as cheap to put three and four into rooms.

    Hi Mommonster,

You most likely will have to book 2 rooms to cover 7 people. We have done 8 in 2 rooms but you just have to work out a schedule for showers. When you put 4 in a room the first 2 pay regular price and the other 2 pay a reduced price. I would say call 1-888-Carnival and work with a vacation planner. They can help you pick a room and work out the price. Carnival is having a one day only sale this Thursday 5/22. That would be a good day to call. Good luck

for that I would Call carnival direct, they have connecting cabins now on some of the ships, and they could work that out for you.  2 cabins would probably do, but your gonna be packed in.

If you get side by side balcony rooms they can take out the seperation and have a big balcony together.

    Keep on cruising!!!

    Hi Mommonster,

The Spirit staterooms will accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. So you would have to split up with 3 in one cabin and 4 in the other.

I have done two adults and two teenagers in one balcony room.  You will be stepping on each other quite a bit.

Me my husband, 20 year old son and 16 year old daughter are going on our 3rd cruise this coming February. None of us have ever complained about room, you are not all in there at one time, just to sleep. We also took advantage of showering in the spa/gym. Have a great cruise.
