We picked our cabins at the time of booking back in April.  Worked on the phone with a Carnival Vacation Planner and she was totally awesome.  I will be taking my two sons 14 and 18 and really looking forward to it.  Cruised many times but this is my first with Carnival.

We still haven't got our room yet.I'm hoping for an upgrade.Ramona your kids are the same age as mine ,do they plan on joining any of activities? Does everyone have there excursions planned?

Gosh!  I can't wait for them to assign the rooms either!  Hopefully, since it is lingering, it means lots of upgrades.  I am hoping to get my boys 14&15 in the O2 program.  my 10 year old thinks he is too cool to do anything -- but we will see.   I have planned: Raiders of the Lost Mayan Cave in Belize for my DH and 2 older boys, the Snuba and Ultimate Sea Adventure in Cayman Islands,  Catamaran Sail and Snorkle in Roatan, and Adventure Park Zip Line and Snorkle in Cozumel......  and we were going to take it easy... it all just looks like so much fun!!

We are doing dolphin discovery in Cozumel,Stringray and star fish in Grand Cayman and a private tour in Roatan.In Roatan we are going to a school and take supplies to them,visit with monkeys,iguana farm and snorkel.I still haven't booked any thing in Belize the tour I was going to use just got a bad review and now I am afraid to use them so I think I will just book something with the ship.

Hi!  My family of four, me - Nancy, my husband, Phil and our 2 teenagers - Synthia who is 15 and Brandon who is 13 are going on the Carnival Legend on November 23rd also!  We have taken 2 Carnival cruises before and love them!  We live in Tampa and I can't wait.  Both of my kids are soo excited!  You will love Carnival!  Anyone else have teenagers going on this cruise?  Let me know - would love to hear from other families!

Trying to schedule our own shore excursions - did it on our last cruise to Mexico and they were awesome - anyone have any ideas?

Going on Legend cruise with my husband and 2 teenagers - Synthia who is 15 and Brandon who is 13 - hope to get him into Circle "C" and her into Club 02.  Have not planned shore excursions yet - we are going to do it on our own.  We did it last cruise and it was awesome and cheaper!  Any suggestions?

We went on the Legend back in May and had a wonderful time.  We went snorkling in The Cayman right off the shore and it was great.  We went on a snorkling tour in Belize which also included a beach break.  They picked us up at the ship in a Caterman and after we snorkled the served a punch that has 150 proof pga.  They also had soda for non drinkers and we were able to have all the punch and sodas while we were at the beach.  Everyone on the excursion was having so much fun that the captain took his time going back to the ship and let everyone dance and have fun on the Caterman.  It was my husbands birthday and one he will never forget.  The Roatan Islands we did another beach break and they had snorkling equipment there you could rent.  Have a great time!!!!

Hi Everyone! We are the Bianco's and will be joining you all on the Legend. We are really starting to get excited here. We live in upstate N.Y. where it's already starting to get cool. By the end of November we may have snow, so the cruise will be a great getaway. My name is Ren, my husband is Larry and we have two children. My son  Blake 14 and daughter Lauren 11. We don't know where we'll be on the ship yet, but we booked in early summer and were guaranteed at least 8A or higher private balcon stateroom, the ageant said without a doubt we would be upgraded. We have not booked excursions yet, however we were thinking about using a company that has been getting great reviews for the Belize cave tubing and zipline. Has anyone heard of actionboysbelize? If so, please let me know. Also, Is it a good idea to book now? I've heard people go both ways on this issue. Well friends we look forward to meeting and sailing with you all. Until then!

We will be on this cruise.  We can't wait--have had it booked for almost a year!   This is our 2nd Carnival cruise.  It will be 4 of us (2 kids--7 yr old girl and 10 yr old boy).  We are also cruising with some friends who have 2 girls (9 & 11).    We will be heading to Tampa on Friday for a fun day of Busch Gardens on Saturday (and to visit the family since we are both born and raised in Tampa). 

Our plans are Stingray city in GC, cave tubing in Belize, scuba diving for the boys in Cozumel and Roatan and shopping for the girls except in Roatan where we will spend the day at Fins & Flippers.

Regular chairs.   I think there might have been a small table

also but I can't remember but it was nice to sit on the balcony

and drink a glass of wine before going to sleep.
