I have booked my first balcony room for the 5/31/08 cruise. I am very excited to have a balcony and was wondering if anyone knows if the balcony is private with a solid panel between cabins or is the panel clear?
There is panel between cabins, at least there is on the Spirit, that can be opened if you want it. Oterwise, it is closed.
Headed back to Alaska on the Sprit 7/9/08. 60 days, but who is counting!
ha ha I am laughing because during "The Newlywed Game" onboard, a couple admitted the "raciest time they did it" was "on the Carnival blacony...last night". HILARIOUS> Yes, MOST balconies are private. Some, however, on the back of the ship, you can see onto from the back of the ship lido deck. Just FYI. You'll know once you get there of course :) Just be mindful that you don't moon flipper :)
Thanks for the replies. Can't promise I wont moon flipper, but I will try to be discreet :)
The balconies on the Glory are solid panels, you can't see the people on the other side unless you peek around it. But you can smell their cigarette smoke.
LOL...LOL...LOL...Tha't funny TNVOLS...
The panel are opague (sp). You can still see around them.
