This me and my husband first cruise. Anyone else going along?

My self and my 3 kids 18, 15 and 9. plus My sister and her 4 year old.  me and sister cruisesd as teens over 20 years ago with our mom.  Now its time to start the fun with our kids.  We can not wait to go.

My husband and me will be cruising on the Inspiration August 30,   Can not wait. We are joining a group of people from South Floirda we have never met!  I am doing a 2 day conference at Sea the days we are at sea.   Should be fun!  See you there.....  We are from Central Floirda.   nanadm

I'm going! This is my second cruise. I went on the Sensation last year with my 15 year old daughter, but this year dad is going alone. See you all onboard. Best vacations I have ever taken.

Ok just thought I would send this out again as we are getting closer.  I am going with my 3 kids boys 18,15 & 9 my sister will be there with her 4 year old.

I'm all packed already I'm so excited. It won't be long now!!! I'll be flying into Tampa around 1pm on the 30th. I'll hopefully be at the dock by 2pm for check-in. Hope to see you there and maybe meet some of you.   I've got a "Cruise Attitude".......lol

 We'll be ther - me, my 9 year old, and my mom.  1st time on carnival, 2nd cruise in all (Disney Wonder) last year.  Can't wait.  We are packed and ready to leave.  See you all there.  Just 9 short days.

6 short days andI am having a hard time concentrating here at work. The days can't pass quick enough for me. See you all on board!

 This is our first cruise also. We can't wait!!    

My wife and I are going for our anniversary/her birthday.  I promised her a cruise for our 10yr anniversary.  This month was our 17yr anniversary.  Better late than never.  :-)

This will be my 5th cruise, but my girlfriend's first.  We are both looking forward to it very much.  not sure if i want to relax or be active.  A little concerned about the hurricane that is about to enter the gulf.  Wonder what they might do in response to that?

Welcome aboard TNG and friend(s). If the hurricane gets in the way Carnival reserves the right to change the ships itinerary (divert to different ports). Whatever the ship does we will be sailing and having a relaxing and/or fun active time. See you onboard!

I was talking to a friend last night who drives for a charter bus company.  I guess last week when Fay was coming ashore the bused the people form Cape canaveral to miami.  I sure hope if they move our port we go from Tampa to Cape and not to miami.  not sure I really want to sit on a bus that long..  But I am still can't wait to get on the ship. 

with the direction it is supposed to go, i wouldnt think it would be a problem sailing out of tampa.  i am just curious where we might end up going.  I hope not key west and bahamas.  been there and done that too many times.

As for me, I hope Gustav heads over Cuba and the land mass. I don't want to see any injuries or destruction, but as it has been down graded to a tropical storm the more it stays over land the weaker it gets. With that said, if it stayed over the island of Cuba for about 24 to 36 hours it would probably fall apart and we could enjoy a cruise on the originally planned route. Hope to see you onboard the ship.
