We are also booked on the Splendor on April 19, 2009. 

Who will the cruise director be???  We have not found anything showing John Heald is the one!  If John is the CD, how long will he be on the Splendor?

LeAnn and Bob here with our grandson Michael and My parents will be joining us in California. We are from Washington State and my folks are from Arizona. They are first time Cruisers. I hope it will be a good experience for them.

I'm in!  Total of five, two cabins.  My boyfriend and I will be there. I will be returning to my So Cal stompin' grounds (Riverside County), grab my 86 year young mother, my sister and her husband and CRUISE! 

Should be fun, new ship, my first time cruising from the West Coast, my mom's second cruise (first was with us NCL, Boston to Bermuda) and the first cruise for my sister and brother in-law.

Yes 259 more days. Any one got there shore excurision that they are intrested in. Can start booking those in 109 more days. Maybe we will run in to you all sometime.

It's all your's AprilSplendor..........We canceled our cruise and rebooked on the Sea Princess that goes to Alaska on the 23rd of July. 

Leaving this November 23rd out of Miami on the Carnival Valor........

F.Y.I. the Splendor, a friend of mine at www.classmates.com just returned from the transatlantic cruise on the Splendor.  That was her 36th cruise, not a huge Carnival fan but said the ship was UNBELIEVABLE and the most beautiful ship she has cruised on.  She posted around 100 photos at the cruises group section of classmates under the photo album Carnival Splendor.   I am even more excited about this cruise than ever!

OK maybe I'm not too bright...But how the heck do I get to see the photos on Classmates???

I THINK, and I could be wrong that if you just go to classmates and go to cruise groups, you should be able to view the photo albums without joining.  Like I said, I could be wrong... but oh my god, the ship looks wonderful!  Shiny, bright and lots of pink dots!

If you still can't get there, let me know and I will see if anyone at classmates has a suggestion to get you there to view pics.

• Second one is to the photo album page and the album is titled Carnival Splendor.

Hope one of the above works.  I am so excited after seeing the pictures and just want to share that excitement with everyone!  The hallways look much wider than those of any other ship I have been on, the pizzaria looks GREAT, the theater, atrium, lounges, dining areas... and on and on all WONDERFUL!
